From Baldur’s Gate to Bohemia: Meet the Stars of PAX Aus 2025

By Drawza

PAX Aus 2025 is levelling up with a stacked lineup of special guests from across the gaming multiverse. Whether you’re spell-slinging your way through RPG epics, laughing your way through live comedy panels, or deep-diving into the dark corners of tabletop worlds, this year’s guest list guarantees something for every kind of player.

The Voice of the Realms – Amelia Tyler

Leading the charge is Baldur’s Gate 3’s ethereal Narrator, Amelia Tyler. Her voice guided millions through the treacherous lands of Faerûn and earned her a well-deserved BAFTA nomination for ‘Performer in a Leading Role.’ A veteran of the RPG genre, fans may also recognize her as Malady (Divinity: Original Sin 2), Wenduag (Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous), The Siren Queen (Sea of Thieves), and Queen Nyrissa (Pathfinder: Kingmaker). Most recently, she brought the Goddess Hecate to life in Hades II. Expect packed panels and long lines at her signing booth.

Straight Outta Bohemia – Luke Dale

Luke Dale, the fan-favourite Lord Hans Capon from Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its upcoming sequel, is making his PAX Aus debut. With Deliverance II winning Gamescom’s 2024 PC Game of the Year, Dale’s star is on the rise. Whether it’s his cheeky charm or noble swagger, expect his sessions to be a hit with fans of immersive, historically grounded RPGs.

From Dropout to Triple-A – Ify Nwadiwe

Ify Nwadiwe wears more hats than most NPCs. A comedian, writer, and professional nerd, he’s made his mark on Dropout TV, Smosh, Achievement Hunter, and even the writers’ rooms of Apex Legends, Borderlands 4, and NBC’s Grand Crew. As the host of Um, Actually, Ify brings a unique mix of comedy and insight—perfect for both chaotic panels and heartfelt conversations about representation and creativity in games.

Into The Dark Room – John Robertson

PAX wouldn’t be complete without a little chaos, and that’s where John Robertson comes in. The creator of The Dark Room, a live-action text-based adventure from hell (and also from the Edinburgh Fringe), Robertson is a cult icon among gaming and comedy fans alike. Expect live shows filled with screaming, swearing, and maybe a little bit of dying.

Tabletop Royalty – Mike Mason

As Call of Cthulhu celebrates its 50th anniversary, Mike Mason, the legendary creative director of Chaosium, joins the celebration. With a career spanning Warhammer, Games Workshop, and decades of TTRPG experience, Mason brings gravitas and insight to any panel. Chaosium will also have a strong presence on the Expo Hall floor, so fans of eldritch horror and gritty tabletop storytelling won’t be left wanting.

A Voice for Change – Diana Fay

TTRPG advocate and live-play performer Diana Fay (@DianaOfTheRose) has become a rising force in the tabletop scene. From Twitch streams to convention panels, Fay is known for her heartfelt storytelling, charity work, and drive to make gaming spaces more inclusive. Whether you're a longtime tabletop fan or a curious newcomer, her presence at PAX will be one to watch.

From AAA blockbusters to indie brilliance, improv comedy to tabletop legends, PAX Aus 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most star-studded, genre-spanning celebrations of gaming culture yet.
