PAX Aus 2025 Schedule Drops: Storytime, Borderlands 4, Baldur’s Gate 3 and More
The countdown to PAX Australia 2025 is officially on, and now fans can start planning their ultimate Melbourne weekend. The full program is live across nine theatres, packed with headline guests, blockbuster panels, fireside chats, and the kind of unforgettable chaos you only get at PAX.
You can download the official PAX Schedule App right now to map out your weekend, but here’s a taste of the big moments taking centre stage.
Friday – Storytime, Elder Scrolls and Acquisitions Inc.
Things kick off with Storytime with Gavin Verhey, Magic: The Gathering’s Principal Designer, before heading into an interactive Elder Scrolls Online adventure led by Game Director Rich Lambert. The day caps off in the Main Theatre with Penny Arcade’s iconic Acquisitions Incorporated, a PAX tradition that never disappoints.
Over in the Quokka Theatre, Ubisoft’s Joshua Mills sits down for a fireside chat about Rainbow Six Siege, while Amelia Tyler and Diana Fae host PAX Prime Time alongside Intel and Back Pocket for an esports deep dive.
Saturday – Borderlands, Baldur’s Gate and The Dark Room
Saturday belongs to the heavy hitters. Amelia Tyler, the BAFTA-nominated voice of Baldur’s Gate 3’s narrator, takes the spotlight for a fireside chat. Meanwhile, Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford hits the Main Theatre to talk Borderlands 4, one of the biggest reveals of the weekend.
Obsidian and Eidos Montréal join forces to talk Grounded 2, and when the sun sets, John Robertson’s The Dark Room returns with its unique blend of chaos and comedy.
The Quokka Theatre lineup includes Ify Nwadiwe, comedian, writer, and voice actor, who’s set for an intimate fireside chat. Plus, Sim it and See: Your Ultimate Sims Panel celebrates 25 years of cowplants, Simlish, and removing pool ladders.
Sunday – Obsidian, Worldbuilding and the Omegathon
The final day goes all-in on RPG greatness with Year of Obsidian, hosted by Mikey Dowling, plus a worldbuilding masterclass from Josh Sawyer and Lis Moberly (20th Century Games).
Of course, Sunday wouldn’t be complete without cosplay and competition. The Cosplay Central Crown Championship returns, with the winner heading to the UK finals, before the weekend wraps with the Omegathon Final Round, a chaotic showdown that always brings the house down.
Meanwhile, the Quokka Theatre goes digital with Let’s Explore Everything VTubing, presented by Vershion & MSI, and a fireside chat with Luke Dale, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 star and rising Twitch streamer.
Nine theatres. One packed weekend.
From headline panels and comedy chaos to esports and cosplay, PAX Australia 2025 is delivering a stacked program across nine theatres all weekend long.
The full schedule is live now on the PAX Aus website and the official app. Start planning, because this October, Melbourne belongs to PAX.
