PAX Aus 2026 Levels Up the eBay Tabletop Hall With Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana and More
PAX Aus is going all-in on tabletop in 2026, unveiling its biggest-ever eBay Tabletop Hall, packed with trading card games, board games, tournaments and hands-on experiences when the event returns to Melbourne this October.
Returning for a second year as the presenting sponsor, eBay Australia is expanding its footprint with the debut of eBay Live and The Collectors Club Studio. Fans will be able to watch live streams, meet special guests and take part in Penny Drops across the weekend, while collectors can complete challenges to unlock exclusive prizes.
Magic: The Gathering is set to be one of the major drawcards of the show floor, with Wizards of the Coast bringing its latest set, Reality Fracture, to PAX Aus. Players can jump into learn-to-play sessions, special events and meet-and-greets, while the live Commander Showdown in the Main Theatre on Saturday, October 10 promises to be a highlight for long-time fans.
Dungeons & Dragons will also return alongside Let's Play Games, giving adventurers the chance to explore the latest books, accessories and products.
After making its debut at last year's event, Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game is back, offering newcomers another opportunity to step into Runeterra and learn the ropes from experienced players.
Asmodee's massive lineup includes Star Wars: Unlimited – Homeworlds, Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Hunted, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Trick-Taking Game and Citadels Duel, alongside a huge range of new titles from Exploding Kittens.
Bandai Card Games will once again bring some of anime's biggest franchises to Melbourne, with One Piece, Dragon Ball Super Fusion World, Digimon and Gundam all playable throughout the weekend. Meanwhile, competitive players can test their skills in tournaments for Hellbreak, Star Wars: Unlimited, Flesh and Blood and Cyberpunk CCG.
Disney fans won't miss out either, with Modern Brands bringing Disney Lorcana to the show floor as part of a lineup celebrating collectible culture and fan communities.
One of the biggest additions to this year's PAX is the expanded collector focus. Between eBay's new activations, the return of major trading card games and the arrival of brand-new experiences, the tabletop hall is shaping up to be one of the busiest areas of the convention.
PAX Aus 2026 takes place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 9 to 11 as part of Melbourne International Games Week. With Magic celebrating its newest expansion, collectors hunting for rare cards and tabletop fans spoiled for choice, this year's event looks set to be the biggest celebration of tabletop gaming PAX Australia has ever seen.
