Pokémon GO and LEGO Team Up for Interactive In-Store Adventure Across Australia
Pokémon GO Trainers have another reason to head out and explore, with Niantic and the LEGO Group launching a special in-store experience at participating LEGO Stores across Australia from 3 August to 30 September 2026.
The limited-time collaboration brings together two of the world's biggest brands, combining exclusive Pokémon GO gameplay with hands-on LEGO Pokémon activities.
Participating LEGO Stores will transform into Pokémon GO destinations, featuring exclusive one-star Pikachu raids, event-themed Timed Research and a special LEGO-themed Stamp Rally. Trainers lucky enough to encounter Pikachu may even find a Shiny version or one with an exclusive event background.
The Stamp Rally will see players explore PokéStops and Gyms throughout participating stores, collecting stamps along the way. Completing the challenge rewards Trainers with a special-background Pikachu encounter, with another chance to find a Shiny Pokémon.
Exclusive Timed Research will also be available by opening Pokémon GO inside participating LEGO Stores. Completing the research before 30 September unlocks special in-game rewards, while players can also collect LEGO-themed Pokémon GO stickers by spinning PokéStops and taking part in event activities.
Away from the game itself, visitors can experience the new LEGO Pokémon SMART Play demonstrations at dedicated Trainer Centres. Fans will be able to get hands-on with LEGO Pokémon sets, receive a collectible SMART Play Tag and earn a special stamp in their LEGO Passport.
The collaboration is designed to celebrate exploration, creativity and community, encouraging both Trainers and LEGO fans to discover something new together.
The Pokémon GO and LEGO experience is available at participating LEGO Stores across Australia until 30 September 2026, with participating locations available on the LEGO website.
