PAX Aus Adds Austin Creed, FINAL FANTASY XIV Favourites and More to Growing 2026 Guest Line-up

PAX Aus has added another huge batch of guests to its 2026 line-up, with former WWE superstar Austin Creed leading the latest wave of announcements for this October's event in Melbourne.

Better known to wrestling fans as Xavier Woods, Creed wasn't just one of WWE's biggest stars, he was also one of the first wrestlers to fully embrace gaming content creation.

Long before it became common for wrestlers to stream or upload gaming videos, Creed launched UpUpDownDown, bringing together WWE Superstars to play video games, compete against each other and show a different side of themselves outside the ring. The channel has gone on to become one of the biggest crossover success stories between wrestling and gaming, helping inspire many of the creators and athletes who followed.

Creed headlines another diverse guest line-up that continues to show exactly what PAX Aus is all about.

FINAL FANTASY XIV fans are in for a treat, with Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Toshio "Foxclon" Murouchi making the trip to Melbourne.

Koji Fox has become one of Square Enix's most recognisable faces, working on the localisation of FINAL FANTASY XI, XIV and XVI while also lending his talents as lyricist and vocalist for THE PRIMALS. Joining him is Foxclon, the Global Community Producer for FINAL FANTASY XIV, who has become a familiar face through the long-running Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcasts alongside Naoki Yoshida.

Australian-born actor Lenore Zann will also return home for all three days of PAX Aus.

While most fans know her as the iconic voice of Rogue from X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97, her voice has also appeared across games including Marvel Rivals, Marvel vs. Capcom and X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Away from the recording booth, Zann has also built a career as an author, activist and former Canadian parliamentarian. She'll take part in a fireside chat reflecting on her career, returning to the X-Men universe and the experiences that have shaped her journey.

Australian game developer Gregory Louden is another exciting addition.

After beginning his career in visual effects on films including Prometheus and Gravity, Louden moved into games with Remedy Entertainment, working on Quantum Break before joining Housemarque as Narrative Director on the BAFTA-winning Returnal. He now serves as Creative Director at Housemarque after directing PlayStation Studios' SAROS, and is expected to share insights into narrative design, leadership and building memorable game worlds.

Following one of the standout appearances at last year's show, Ify Nwadiwe is making his return to PAX Aus.

Known to many as the host of Dropout's Um, Actually, Ify has become a familiar face across Smosh, Dimension 20 and Achievement Hunter while also writing for television and games including Apex Legends and Borderlands 4. His energy and humour made him an instant hit with PAX audiences in 2025, making his return one many fans will be looking forward to.

Australian composer Mick Gordon will also take to the stage to discuss the music behind some of gaming's biggest releases.

From DOOM and DOOM Eternal to Wolfenstein, Prey, Killer Instinct and Atomic Heart, Gordon's unmistakable blend of heavy metal and cinematic orchestration has helped define the sound of modern action games. His work has earned both Game Awards and D.I.C.E. Awards, making him one of Australia's most celebrated game composers.

One of the most welcome returns is The Dark Room.

John Robertson's interactive comedy show has become a staple of PAX Australia over the years, with packed theatres and audiences happily yelling themselves into increasingly ridiculous situations. Every performance is different, with the audience driving the action and Robertson improvising his way through the chaos. If you've never experienced it before, it's one of those shows that perfectly captures the spirit of PAX.

The latest announcement also includes content creator Jasmine "ThatBronzeGirl" Bhullar, whose gaming and pop culture content has built a passionate online following, as well as the legendary Good Games Morley team, who continue to be favourites among Australia's tabletop community.

Fantasy fans will also have the chance to hear from acclaimed Australian author Isobelle Carmody, creator of The Obernewtyn Chronicles, while Chaosium Art Director Paul Tobin rounds out the line-up. Tobin's work spans Call of Cthulhu, Pendragon and blockbuster films including The Hobbit, The Chronicles of Narnia and James Cameron's Avatar.

The newly announced guests join previously revealed Storytime speaker Holly Longdale, Executive Producer of World of Warcraft, who will headline one of PAX Aus's signature sessions.

"PAX Aus has always been about bringing together incredible people from every corner of gaming and gaming culture," Event Director Lauren Luciani said.

"This year's guests represent the breadth of the community we celebrate, from game development and content creation to tabletop gaming, fantasy literature, voice acting and live performance. We're thrilled to welcome them to Melbourne and can't wait for fans to experience everything they have to share."

PAX Aus returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9-11 October, with another packed weekend of panels, live shows, esports, tabletop gaming, indie games and hands-on experiences.

If this latest announcement is anything to go by, there are still plenty more surprises to come before the doors open in October.
