Oz Comic-Con Brings Lord of the Rings, Helluva Boss and Anime Stars to Brisbane and Sydney

Oz Comic-Con has added another wave of big names to its Brisbane and Sydney events, with stars from The Lord of the Rings, Helluva Boss, The Amazing Digital Circus, Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer all confirmed to appear this September.

Leading the announcement is Australian actor Miranda Otto, best known to fantasy fans as Éowyn in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Since her iconic role in Middle-earth, Otto has appeared in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, 24: Legacy, War of the Worlds and Australian horror hit Talk to Me. She also recently returned to the world of Tolkien as the narrator of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.

Joining her is Brandon Rogers, the creator behind one of YouTube's biggest comedy channels and the voice of Blitzø in Helluva Boss. Rogers has built a massive following online through his unique brand of comedy, with billions of views across his videos.

Anime fans will also have plenty to look forward to, with three of the biggest names in English voice acting making the trip to Australia.

Lizzie Freeman, whose credits include Pomni in The Amazing Digital Circus, Yanfei in Genshin Impact, Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil and Trish Una in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, joins the guest list.

Adam McArthur, the voice of Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen, will also appear, alongside Griffin Burns, who is known for roles including Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer, Childe in Genshin Impact and Doppio in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.

All five guests will appear at both the Brisbane and Sydney events, where fans will be able to purchase photo opportunities and autographs, while also attending live panels throughout the weekend.

Beyond the celebrity line-up, Oz Comic-Con will once again feature cosplay competitions, gaming experiences, artists, exhibitors and interactive attractions, with more guests and programming still to be announced ahead of both events.
