Timezone Australia Offers Exclusive First Look at Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune Ignition

Australian arcade racing fans will have the chance to get behind the wheel of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune Ignition months before its global release, with Timezone hosting an exclusive preview event in Sydney.

Running from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at Timezone Haymarket, the event will give players an early taste of the latest instalment in the popular Bandai Namco arcade racing series, ahead of its expected global launch in mid-2027.

The preview will feature 10 car models and four courses across two areas, with several gameplay modes available. These include four-player head-to-head racing, Time Attack and the preview-exclusive WANGAN GUMA Challenge.

Long-time fans will also be able to get a head start, with players using a Bandai Namco Passport able to transfer their car data into the full game upon release. Exclusive rewards and official event rankings will also be available for participating racers.

“We know how passionate the Wangan Midnight community is in Australia, so we’re incredibly excited that Timezone guests will be able to experience Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune Ignition ahead of its global launch,” said Kane Fong, General Manager at Timezone Australia.

The Sydney event forms part of a limited series of international previews, giving Australian fans a rare opportunity to experience the next generation of Maximum Tune before its wider release.
