Nintendo, World of Warcraft and Bandai Namco Join PAX Aus 2026

PAX Aus has announced Nintendo, World of Warcraft and Bandai Namco as the latest additions to its 2026 expo floor lineup, alongside details of this year’s Queue Hall activities.
Attendees will have opportunities to play upcoming games, hear from World of Warcraft developers and take part in activities before the show floor opens.
Nintendo
Nintendo will give Australian fans their first opportunity to compete onstage in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, ahead of its October 22 release.
The booth will also feature an exclusive Pikmin Bloom event, along with demos of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass.
Upcoming games from Nintendo’s partners will also be playable, including Monster Hunter Wilds, Minecraft Dungeons II and 007 First Light.
World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale will open PAX Aus 2026 as the Storytime keynote speaker.
Longdale will discuss her two decades in the games industry, the evolution of Warcraft and the role of online communities in MMOs.
Associate production director Clay Stone will join her onstage for a closer look at a new dungeon coming to World of Warcraft: Forever, covering the team’s design process and approach to gameplay.
Attendees can play the beta at the World of Warcraft: Forever booth throughout the weekend. The booth will also feature a themed photo experience and a Raid for Riches quest card.
Completing the quests will unlock a World of Warcraft: Forever Pinny Arcade pin and entry into a prize draw.
Bandai Namco
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 will make its Australian playable debut at PAX Aus, ahead of its release in 2027.
Fans will be the first in Australia to try the latest entry in the XENOVERSE series.
ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE will also be playable, arriving at PAX shortly after its October 2 launch.
Queue Hall
The PAX Queue Hall will open from 8am to 10am, with activities taking place before the show floor opens.
Ahead of Street Fighter reaching cinemas on October 15, attendees will have the opportunity to be selected to play Street Fighter 6 live onstage, with Street Fighter gear available to win.
A Bluey activity will also run each morning. Selected attendees will take part in Here Come the Grannies!, with prizes including Bluey merchandise and copies of Bluey’s Happy Snaps: Activity Book Edition.
PAX Aus 2026 runs from October 9 to 11 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
