From Pokémon to Borderlands: PAX Australia 2025 Exhibitor Line-Up Revealed
PAX Australia is less than a month away, and if the exhibitor list is anything to go by, this year is set to be one of the biggest yet. We already knew about the stacked tabletop space and the wave of special guests headed to Melbourne - names like Amelia Tyler, Ify Nwadiwe, Josh Sawyer, Luke Dale, and Gavin Verhey. Now, the expo floor lineup has landed, and it’s absolutely massive.
Nintendo, Xbox, The Sims, Devolver Digital, Massive Monster, Bethesda, Gearbox, and Ubisoft headline a roster that mixes blockbuster titles, exclusive demos, wild booth activations, and esports tournaments. Whether you’re there for the big console drops, indie surprises, or to hunt merch, PAX Aus 2025 looks like it has you covered.
Nintendo brings the Switch 2 heat
Nintendo is coming in hot, with Australian-first hands-on for Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, ahead of its October 16 release. Also on deck is Kirby Air Riders, launching November 20, plus a demo for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Fans will also get to test out Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Add in Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades II, and more, and Nintendo’s booth will be a must-stop.
Xbox goes big (literally)
The Xbox booth is building a giant gaming rig experience under the banner THIS IS AN XBOX. Expect hands-on time with the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X, plus the long-awaited return of NINJA GAIDEN 4. The booth is set up for exploration, hidden surprises, and some photo-ready moments.
The Sims goes camping
EA is going full nostalgia with a camp-themed booth for The Sims, tying into the new Adventure Awaits expansion pack. Think camp activities, merch, and even an in-game campground in The Sims FreePlay.
Devolver + Massive Monster = Cult chaos
Fans of Cult of the Lamb will be the first in the world to try the new DLC, Woolhaven. The booth promises surprises, merch, and a chance to grab a photo inside The Lamb’s temple.
Bethesda dials up the immersion
From a Fallout Red Rocket diner to DOOM: The Dark Ages props and an Elder Scrolls Online panel with Rich Lambert, Bethesda APAC is going all in. Don’t miss the exclusive Fallout 76 Pinny Arcade pin either.
Gearbox unleashes Borderlands 4
Yes, Borderlands 4 is real, and it’s coming to PAX Aus. Expect fresh reveals, behind-the-scenes stories, and a Borderlands panel, plus a trip to Moxxi’s Bar for themed drinks and giveaways.
Ubisoft celebrates Siege’s 10th birthday
Rainbow Six Siege turns 10 this year, and Ubisoft is marking it with esports tournaments, a creator showmatch, and a fireside chat with Game Director Joshua Mills. You’ll also be able to burn some energy with Just Dance.
Hardware, esports, and surprises
It’s not just the big publishers. Aftershock is back with live builds, influencer showdowns, and Starlight Foundation fundraising. The expo floor will also feature hardware brands like MSI, Thermaltake, Turtle Beach, Sony InZone, and Keychron with hands-on demos and show specials.
On top of that, eBay is running a Passport Adventure scavenger hunt, ÆRTHLINGS are dropping limited collectibles every morning, Red Bull Tetris is offering a path to a world final in Dubai, and the AEL Nationals will showcase the best Rocket League, Siege, and VALORANT talent from across Australia.
And that’s before you even get to Crunchyroll’s anime booth or the Kiwi indie showcase via CODE.
The bottom line
PAX Australia 2025 is shaping up to be a monster of a show. From the first look at Pokémon Legends: Z-A to Borderlands 4 reveals, from camp-themed Sims chaos to full-blown Fallout roleplay, there’s no shortage of reasons to hit the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this October.
Whatever your flavour of gaming, PAX Aus 2025 has something waiting for you.
